Feed My Sheep is a Calera First UMC ministry feeding Calera area families in crisis. Our food pantry operates the first Saturday of each month passing out boxes of food at the church from 8:00 to 10:00am. Photo ID and Proof of residence needed.


We deliver food to the local students that need it. Click Backpack Buddies above to see a video on what Backpack Buddy's does. Help us by bringing in the following items:

  • Capri Sun or juice box drinks (100% juice is best)
  • Granola bars or cereal bars
  • Single serving fruit cups, applesauce or raisins
  • Monetary donatations accepted also

    • Each month we have a different group we focus on:

    April - Homeless; May - Teacher Appreciation; June - Vacation Bible School

    July - Prayer in the Park; August - Backpack Buddies ; September - Shelby Emergency Assistance; October - Calera First Carnival; November - Thanksgiving Meals; December - Community Gift Wrapping
